Divide by Zero is a four piece punk/rock band from Chicago. Formed in October of 2002, Divide by Zero exhibits influences from bands like Hot Water Music, Dillinger 4, and Small Brown Bike. The power and emotion that is embodied in their songs and live show comes directly from their home, Chicago. Divide by Zero plays an amazing blend of punk/rock that captures a small part of their home.
During d/0’s short existence they have already played all around the country with Lawrence Arms, Rise Against, Mae, Glasseater, Northstar, Spitalfield, Preacher gone to Texas, Mu330, The Ghost and Beautiful Mistake. A full length is scheduled to be released in Summer 2004.

The internet and mp3s have made it so much easier for bands to get their music heard and for people to hear new bands. It's a good thing.
