NEWS   [26/12/2005] I got preoccupied with many other things in 2005, and decided to give up on releasing music as A Mixed Blessing, making my legacy a thing of the past. But a year after you last heard from me, I rise again! Keeping with the times, I have released all 10 of my hits as a digital album, available in my digital download store. My singles are now no-longer free, either. Shame on me! Please buy my album...please... Wow! It's exactly 2 years since I released Everything Is Easy! 'Singles', my album, is my last ever release under the A Mised Blessing banner, and is the punctuation mark on the end of my Soundclick career in this guise. Maybe I'll emerge again using my real name, who knows? Thankyou very much to everyone who has listened to and/ or downloaded my music, if it weren't for you my work would be falling on deaf ears. [28/12/04] After 5 days, 'Over' has been retired form the charts. I have now done 10 singles!

[27/12/04] 1st anniversary of A Mixed Blessing on Soundclick, because 'Everything Is Easy' was released on THIS day, LAST year!

[25/12/04] Happy Christmas everybody! 'Over' has risen phenominally to #282/ #49 alt./ indie. Please continue to download this song! I recieved a bass guitar for Christmas today, so I will use that in future works of mine.

[24/12/04] 'Over' enters the chart at #706/ #141 alt./ indie. A reasonably good start.

[23/12/04] After peaking at #431/ #87, I retired 'Sky Above Clouds' from the chart. That's 9 singles that I've done now! Also, I also wrote, recorded and released my new, 10th, MP3 single! It's called 'Over' and you have to download it NOW!

[21/12/04] Oh no! 'Sky Above clouds' has only limped in at #968/ #181 alt./ indie. So, get playing and/ or downloading, and help it to fly to a better position. Go on.

[20/12/04] 'Gung Ho!' peaked at #268/ #45 alt./ indie, but I retired it. In its place, I released 'Sky Above Clouds'.

[17/12/04] At last, my (unintentionally-long,) 4-month absence draws to a close: my 8th single, 'Gung Ho!' is released today! So, help me into the charts, soundclickers.

[16/12/04] Forget any empty promises that I've made before, I recorded the first 2 tracks of my new single about the time of my last entry, and I recorded the other 2 tracks today, as well as recording my next single, 'Light Above Clouds'. Until then, my latest offering, oddly-named 'Gung Ho!' will be released tomorrow!

[19/10/04] Today, after 23 months of growing, my trademark long hair was finally cut to a shorter and more manageable style. As the saying goes, all good thing come to an end.

[1/8/04] I've released my new single, 'Happy To Have Left'. Check it out! It's another short song, just like the previous two, so if you couldn't be bothered to sit through 'It Happened At Last', then perhaps you will appreciate this one more.

[31/7/04] 'Those Days Are Now' peaked at #377, it's entry position, on my 17th birthday. I retired it today. I also recorded a new single. As yet untitled, it is slated for release tomorrow!

[28/7/04] I've released my new single, the short, sharp 'Those Days Are Now'. So get it now.
...I also re-uploaded my atrocious, late-2003 first excuse-for-a-single, 'Everything Is Easy' (see the bottom of this news page,) so you can see why all my singles have been instrumentals since then. It is not eligible for the chart. But 'Those Days Are Now', my sixth single, is!

[26/7/04] After a final stand at #361/ #60, 'Hand In Hand' was retired from the charts. Look out for the next single, 'Those Days Are Now', out in a couple of days!

[25/7/04] Server trouble prevented chart positions from being listed, although there was substantial interest in 'Hand In Hand' on this day, so the chart points are incorporated into tomorrow's position.

[22/7/04] 'Hand In Hand' reached it's peak position of #249/ #34.

[20/7/04] 'Hand In Hand' has hit the charts, at #330/ #50 alt/ indie sub. respectively, my highest entry so far! Remember: In a few days, when I retire this one, I will release a new single: 'Those Days Are Now', which was recorded yesterday, along with 'Hand In Hand'.

[19/4/04 (cont)] After recording and photographing the cover shot, I have released 'Hand In Hand', so you know what to do, kids!

[19/7/04] OK, for get that last thing I said, that can wait 'til later... I recorded my next TWO singles today! And I want to have them both out and then retired by the 6th August, when I'm going to the Epperheide Center Parcs in Belgium for 10 days. I'll also be attending both days of the V Festival at Hylands Park this year (just thought I'd mention that...)

[24/6/04] I have written my next single... and it has lyrics! So you shall hear me sing. It's heartfelt and refers to a true incident that happened today (when I wrote the lyrics.) It is called 'In Your World'. Watch this space, I'll have it up here as soon as possible!

[28/5/05] My new single was recorded and uploaded today. Also today, I did to cover photo, did the artwork and named the single: 'It Happened At Last'. It lasts a staggering 6:32. Download it now, if you can stand the wait!

[8/5/04] I found my next single today. It's untitled as yet, although it may be called either 'It Came At Last' or 'It Finally Happened For Me'. The title remains to be confirmed, but it is due towards the end of this month, so look out for it!

A very big thank you to everybody who made this my biggest hit so far! In these last four months, I have certainly emerged from the woodwork, having peaked with 'Everything Is Easy' at #2450. [6/3/04] Well, it hit the charts after promotion
(entering on day 2 lower that where 'Everything Is Easy' was retired from!) It's peak has been #229. Today it sits at #486. After the responses dry-up, it will be retired, but WILL NOT be deleted from the songs page. Many thanks to all of you who have listened to and/ or downloaded 'Alone'. It is greatly appreciated. [22/2/04] Disaster! After no promotion, 'Alone' has failed to chart! Well, it's been promoted now, so we'll see how things are tomorrow...

[26/1/04] This morning, after reaching #3218, I finally retired 'Everything Is Easy' from the charts. Soon it will be deleted, too. Meanwhile, follow-up single 'Alone' is scheduled for release on 21/2/04, becoming available for public download on 22/2/04.

[25/1/04] At about midday, I went to a railway bridge near my home and photographed the view, which will be used as the cover artwork for 'Alone'.

[24/1/04] This evening, I recorded the next single; an instrumental entitled 'Alone'. It is to be released mid-to-late February.

[22/1/04] After a sudden increase in popularity, 'Everything Is Easy' has re-entered the top-3000, and is at #2830!

[21/1/04] 'Everything Is Easy' is now at #3080. It will certainly be withdrawn in a week or two.

[18/1/04] Now at #2995, it seems that 'Everything Is Easy' has seen all the glory it's going to see. It will be retired from the charts in a few weeks. However, I have found a new song that will be my next single... it's going to be an instrumental, and it will be promoted heavily to ensure it achieves the success it deserves. It is as yet untitled and unrecorded, but is scheduled for release on 21/2/04, becoming available on 22/2/04, followed by... the promotion... this single is GUARANTEED to perform better than 'Everything Is Easy', so keep looking back here for more developments regarding
