Why this name?
It was Sandras idea. The definition of mercury is the closest planet to the sun, a highly optimized computer programming language and a natural occuring element that when transformed into a liquid state is deadly.
Do you play live?
Yes we play live, WE performed at Midian winter goth festival inSan Antonio Feb 14th 2004 We are scheduled for New York , East village theater on April 29th 2004
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We feel that the internet greatly enhances the amount music audiences in general
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes so that we could reach more people with greater distribution possibilites, record better quality music and other reasons.

Bio
Liquid Mecury has been in the abstract creative process since 1998.The group consists of Sandra Espinosa, vocals,bass, synths, and programming and Charlene S. Townsend , backup vocals, guitar, synths and programming. These two girls are both natives of a border city named Brownsville, Tx. Sandra and Charlene met in April 1996 they fell in love and have been very happy ever since.In 2001 they were able to finally compile their work and produce their first album, Mind Swirl©2002. Their second album and the latest is Sin System©2003 . The girls are currently working on a third album.
A long with their love for eachother they share a great love for music and creating it. They fuse together to create a heavenly union. They are also a dj team spinning industrial/ebm/synthpop/goth/ some electro clash also hard and progressive trance .From Febuary 2002-Sept 2002 Sandra and Charlene ran a goth/industrial night known as Eviltronik.Then they moved to San Antonio, Tx to become resident djs for Download (deadwire.net)a
synthpop/industrial club from October 2002-December 2002. In January of 2003 they had a guest dj spot at Sin 13 in San Antonio, Tx for the German Gothic/Industrial group Das Ich. Liquid Mercury is scheduled to appear at The New York International Music and Film Festival at madison square garden in April 2004.They are also working on remixing, abstract art, photography, and transcending to a other unique and higher spiritual and cosmic levels of existance that are not recognized widely but essential to achieve true life.
