Band History:
Stockport’s Limbic Riot formed in the summer of 2002 to play heavy, metal influenced sludgecore. Influenced by contemporary greats such as Iron Monkey, Raging Speedhorn, Charger and Killswitch Engage, the band played gigs in Stockport then recorded a 5 track demo in the summer of 2003. The 18 minute demo received positive reviews in various webzines (www.ukbase.org.uk, www.daredevil.de) and fanzines (Manchester’s ‘A Short Fanzine About Rocking’) and scored 6/10 in Rock Sound Magazine.
With three members still in high school Limbic Riot is a relatively young band, who have so far shared a stage with acclaimed underground acts such as Narcosis, My War, Shaped By Fate, Ripley and Johnny Mental.
