These are 3 very rough instrumental demos we recorded back in December of 2003. We should be getting some newer songs online here very soon! For anyone auditioning, we would like someone between the age range of 18 to 30.
Why this name?
Shinebox is a name we borrowed from the movie 'Goodfellas.' The name (I found out recently) is already copyrighted to a different band, so we're in the process of finding another name.
Your influences?
We have a real mixed bag of influences between us. Individually, I think we all bring to the table different musical elements, ranging from Prog Rock, Funk, Metal, and Jazz. Anything from Dream Theater, Deftones and Tool, to 311, Incubus and Primus, to John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Victor Wooten.
