The three of these talented young men come together to form the super punk trio Euphobia, give them a listen, surely they wotn let you down.
Band/artist history
Euphobia was started by Dave Sieling somewhere around April 2001. It was a late night once, a while ago, before April 2001, and Dave Sieling sat in his bed looking at his guitar and his small collection of CD's and a thought came to him: "Bands are so cool, I wish I was in a band" It was then that Dave started his long journey to create a band he could call his own. Unfortunate for him his first couple of attempts did not blow over to well, but they did help him realize what he was looking for in his members. Commitment, determination, and a will to make sacrifices. Then came along Justin, energetic, spunky, funny, smart, an all around pretty cool guy. But the one feature that stood out about him, wasn't his hair, his eyes, his butt, it was his talent on the drums, he could bang on the cow skin and aluminum instruments forever and not even break a sweat, David knew he needed him, and the commitment they shared only increased the chances of the band Dave was looking for actually forming. Now all they needed was a Bassist. Dave and Justin tried a couple of bassist but none of them worked like he needed them to. They all didn't have the talent level they required, or the willingness to commit. Then, in Spanish class one day, Dave met James Bailey, a very straight forward guy. So, Dave and James built a relationship up around making fun of school, talking about Music, and doing stupid stuff in Spanish class, then Dave found out that James played bass, "Could this be the one?" Dave brought James to a practice, but alas, it was not ment to be. They wrote a song, but it didn't kindle to James' interests, so he walked, but Dave was determinded and continued to bug James, and it actually worked. James came to another practice and learned all the songs and had a really good time. He decided to stay on, and he did, for a time. But for reasons that do not need to be disclosed, he had to take a short break, a month or two. But after that James was back in action, with even more energy, fury and bass skills than ever before. So from then on Euphobia has taken its music to the depths of culture, society, and the very heart of the teenage spirit. Yes life is good, but it only gets better, for every time Euphobia performs a show, they dont just "perform" they become one with the crowd and give them what they want, a high energy pumping show, and it even comes with good music! Have you performed in front of an audience?
"Our live performance is usual the best time to listen to our music. We pack in all of our energy and all of our emotion into that half an hour. We just play our best and pour our hearts into it." -Justin
Your musical influences
Imagine a mix of crashing guitars, bass lines of an almost funk nature, melodies that are more catchy than the common cold, and drum lines that will keep you dancing till the sun come sup. Then throw in a bit of speed punk, and your on the right track to knowing what Euphobia sounds like, but the best way to find out is simply to listen to them!
