I am a young producer, just 15 now. I produce and rap for my lord Jesus Christ. Without HIM, I woulnd't have the skill that I have and my beats would honestly suck. So support the talent that Christ gave and buy some beats please.
Why this name?
JR Instrumentals? Well thats self explanatory lol...but my rap group name, "IsReal Clique," is a suggestion made to me by my mom (haha) and I ran with it. It is supposed to remind us that God IsReal.
Do you play live?
Just beginning to play live. At my school we are about to have an event.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it has made it easier to share music, but now its overloaded and labels won't be able to find a talented individual easily unless they did a deal with satan or something.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure as long as they dont make me do anything against my God.
Band History:
Its funny, but we were going to be a rock band back a few years ago but I decided that rap is much better haha. After that, I started to produce on Sony ACID Music Studio 7, which is not flexible enough to make quality music. I switched to FL Studio 9 and have stuck with that for a while now...I really like it. I make the beats that we rap on and others get sold.
Your influences?
Lecrae influenced me first, then I listened to some Trip Lee, Tedashii, Flame, etc. after a while their sound became to mainstream for me so I listen to Krayzie Bone and them now...not exactly Christian Hiphop, but close enough (Jehovah Witness).
