Band History:

Art Dickerson is a published singer/songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas who has written over three hundred songs. He is an artist whose distinctive lyrical and vocal styles allow him to cross the genres of country, pop, rock, R & B, gospel and Christian. He is a member of BMI. His influences include The Beatles, James Taylor, Elton John, Dan Fogelberg, Sting, Journey, Lyle Lovett, Jeffrey Steele, Tim McGraw, Lonestar and George Strait. Over the years he has worked in studios doing lead and background vocals for clients and has performed in various pop/rock bands.

Art appreciates playing a myriad of venues with spectators-clubs, concerts, showcases, etc. He performs regularly in Texas and in Nashville, Tennessee at Bluebird Café, Douglas Corner, Commodore, Ga Dang, Preston Hotel, French Quarter, Hall of Fame and others. He makes frequent trips to Nashville to record, network and perform as he loves the close-nit songwriter community.

Jessika Murphy cut Art’s song “Tell Me Twice” on her debut album in 2006. Recent cuts include Craig Moritz on EMI Records with Work for Beer, Josh Housewright with I Can Be Strong on Lamon Records and Bryan Fontenot with Work for Beer on Lariat Records.

Art enjoys spending time with family, golf, books, hockey and movies.
