Band History:
DJ Cuz started back in 1996. The name of the band stands for Dustin Jaban and they are cousin's. When Members Jaban Foisy, and Dustin Haldane, met at Bates Farm in Maine. They decided that they would do covers of songs, and make Rap versions of worship songs. They did a cover of brain stew by Green Day, and a rap version of awesome god. This brought them nowhere.
Next DJ Cuz turned into a rock band. Drummer Jaban Foisy, bassist Tommy Rodrique, and vocals was Dustin Haldan. Finding out that Dustin couldn’t sing he got kickeed out. The band named changed from DJ Cuz to Optimistic End. The next realization was Optimistic End was now in need of a vocalist and a guitar player. After, a while of searching no musicians came around and Optimistic End ended.
One Christmas Jaban’s cousin DJ Bigge gave him a computer program that could be used to created hip-hop loops. When Dustin and Jaban got together that summer, Dustin told Jaban to make a rap up for his beats. From that day on they have written songs together, improving in talent as the days go by.
