ALBUM AVAILABLE AT http://mp3.com/_ozz_ !LOCAL RELEASE 4/29/03!
Formerly a member of the group RAPKUZA, OZZ brings pure emceein' back to hip-hop. He produces, writes, and handles recruiting for Dynamyk Entertainment, Inc. He is currently recording an album entitled "ReBirth" and it will be completed, and released early next year. The album will have 14 tracks on it. Recently Ozz was nominated for unsigned hip-hop artist of the year for 2002. The award ceremony will be on February 22nd, 2003 at the Centre 4 Arts at Mizner Park in Boca Raton.
Why this name?
I chose "Ozz" because I have a keen business sense, and I have made many things happen for other local artists who normally wouldn't even have the chance to be involved in the business at all. In other words, like the wizard in the movie, "I make it come true."
Do you play live?
Yes. Most of my shows are in the south Florida area. The company I co-founded, (Dynamyk Entertainment, Inc.) puts on an unsigned artist showcase every year for local artists to gain exposure. I perform there of course, and I also have performed at the "How Can I Be Down" music convention, and I have performed at many other local events, and festivals.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe that it makes it much easier for unsigned artists to expose themselves on the "world stage." Most record labels expect for the average unsigned artist to have an elaborate, and expensive, package. a lot of unsigned artists simply can not afford this. This is why the internet/MP3 is a gold mine.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. They can get me the worldwide exposure on television, radio, and many other forms of media.
Band History:
Originally from London, England, OZZ brings pure emceein' back to hip-hop. He produces, writes, and sometimes recruits new artists for Dynamyk Entertainment, Inc. He is multi-faceted having the ability to flip his style many different ways. Go to http://mp3.com/_ozz_ for online information regarding OZZ, and samples of OZZ music. Formally a member of the group RAPKUZA, OZZ has been in the business for a long time. He originally started with a group called Epitome. They were on the verge of signing a recording contract when one of the members decided to drop out of music. Needless to say, the contract was lost. He left the group after that, and formed Inn-R-net Productions with his partner Malace. The owner of an entertainment company which has relocated to Orlando, (hint, listen to "Unstoppable, Part I",) created several issues between the artists, which eventually led to the closing of the company. In 1999 Ozz & Malace formed RAPKUZA Entertainment. It was an organization dedicated to helping unsigned artists gain exposure. In 2002 the company was put on hiatus. Ozz & Malace built a new company; “Dynamyk Entertainment, Inc.” Ozz decided to focus more on his music, and pursue a recording contract. Ozz produces much of his own material, and designs his own CD/Album covers. Every year on Thanksgiving Night, Dynamyk Entertainment, Inc. sponsors the "Unsigned Artist Showcase" at the Broward County Fair. The main focus for OZZ is to receive a recording, or distribution contract, and reach the billions of potential fans worldwide. His music can be found on Amazon.com, mpulse.com, and many other sites all over the Internet. He frequently appears in the top 10 chart of most popular hip-hop songs on mpulse.com. "The future will bring many changes, and OZZ will be there to guide them!"
