High Flow has been around since 1998. The group formed right when the best era in hiphop started to diminish, but our delivery has revived this era of influence. We have revolutionized the sound of hiphop by using our many influences of music to create our own. The High Flow is music for your mind, body, and soul. We hope you take your time in listening to our music, as well as checking out our official homepage. PEACE!

Why this name?

We knew that our rhymes were very concious so we thought of a name that would encompass this higher level of poetry, and we knew we also had a flow which was more rythmic than the rest, thus spawned the name: High Flow aka a rhyme of great energy and skill

Do you play live?

We play live all over the place; several locations including Boston, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and New York. We always enjoy performing the most, when given the oppurtunity to rock the mic for a crowd that will listen. No "special moments" yet in our careers, other than meeting and playing with amazing musicians along the way and making great bonds.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It allows independent artists to be heard without the conglomerated media standing in the way. It also gives our audience effecient access to our music, even though we'd PREFER you buy the CD to support what we do!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Depends on how we do on my own...and depends on the label.

Band History:

High Flow was established in 1998 in Vermont. We've come a long way in the last 6, now going on 7, years. We are made up of the following elements: Cessa X, Syclone, DJ B-Roc, Jah Slade, and Sykaphek. We have also expanded our crew with artists such as Molokai and Realize. We continue to expand hiphop to a new level everyday as it is our passion.

Your influences?

Sound is the influence. Anything heard or even seen influencesus when it comes time to be creative.

Favorite spot?

The Green Mountains of Vermont.
