Heaven
FZ4 is a the next generation of Pop music in the millenium. We have a very eclectic sound that is infused with R&B/Hiphop & Pop influences. This unique sound, we like to call Street Pop because of it's gritty, edgy & urban sound. What seperates us from other groups is the fact that we are able to be free & really focus on our selves & our music which allows for a really unique sound.
Why this name?
Our name is FZ4, two members in the group were part of a successful Pop group called Faze4. The group later broke up & with what they worked so hard for they wanted to maintain a sense of identity. So while the former manager retained the rights to Faze4, we decided to go with a name that reflected what we were all about a New Phase with four members hence FZ4 a derivative of Faze4.
Do you play live?
We are actually a vocal group, so we don't play instruments we normally perform & sing live to our recorded music tracks or with a live band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens up a world of options & creates a bigger fan based due to technological advances. It allows for quicker distribution of your music & offers options of freedom & new marketing campaigns.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, In fact our hopes are guided in that direction. We are currently in talks with RCA & Universal Music Group.
Your influences?
Our musical influences are, Brian Mcknight, Boyz To Men, Nsync, BackStreet Boyz, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations & Marvin Gaye
Favorite spot?
We each like perspectivly, Puerto Rico, Italy, Florida, & The Carribean Islands
