Hello, and welcome to The Blake Albinson Speed Composition Gallery. I'm Blake Albinson and I belong to Bullet Lodge, a regional chapter of a speed composition society called Immersion Compostion Society, or ICS.

The idea in Bullet Lodge is that every month each Lodge member, or sibling, chooses one day where they write, arrange, and record as many songs as possible in those 24 hours, minimum of 6 songs. Special rules have been adopted to allow for "Marathoning", in which you owe one additional song for every 4 hours you stay awake after the first 24 hours without sleep. Then, in a secret and mysterious set of rites and passages, and with plenty hummus and fondue, we convene and show each other what we've got.

If any musician is reading this, I urge you at once to do this. You won't go back.

The Gallery serves as public repository for the goods and wares of sibling Albinson. The layout is intended to give the peruser a comprehensive tasting of the many musical flavors which arise from self-inflicted time pressure, sleep deprivation, obsession, forced output, and general creative absurdity. Enjoy.
