Why this name?
Back in High School people used to call me "Savage". Whenever a cypher/battle popped off in the lunch room. I started freestylin' off "savage" one day and I happened to say the word "ravage" which turned into a big arguement. This kid was sayin' that "ravage" wasn't a word. I knew for a fact it was so I went and checked it out in the dictionary. The meaning is "The act of violent distruction". Which to me is how I would describe my mindstate when I'm in a battle. When I first chose the name it was R - ready A - And V - Verbally A - Armed G - Genetical E - Enemy. After a while I decided to make it Ravij. Give it a little bit of my own twist.

Haven't done anything lately really.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I can't say much, this is my main gateway to getting heard. I think it's a new music industry in it's own manor. A lot of different styles are being reinnovated thru hip hop online.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
sure would, and whoever says they wouldn't a got dang liar or atmosphere.. lmao
