Why this name?
I like the name Destiny and the name Shane. My best friend and I came up with it oneday. We were talking about how we'd change our names if we'd travel to another country. So what I did, obviously was take the first 2 letters of Destiny and the the first 3 letters of Shane. Threw in the letters "yna" and there you have it "DeShayna".
Do you play live?
No I don't play live, but I hope to oneday sometime in the near future. I sang a solo at christmass mass this past year, it was exciting. Also, I'm singing in a church choir and I love it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It introduces new artists and gives a chance to be discovered.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes of course, why not. I dream of signing a contract with Columbia or Arista records.

Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Selena, Shakira, Thalia.

NEW YORK CITY, Baby!!!
Equipment used:
I use a karaoke machine. Is not as good as a professional recording studio, but it does the job.
