Melodic acoustic rock from the heart and soul... It's what I am... Not the best vocalist or guitarist, but it's what my heart's delivering, it's the message that's what counts.
Why this name?
It's fairly easy to choose your band name when you're born with it.
Do you play live?
Every so often, I'm found at open mics, and I love sitting up there and having songs shouted out at me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it assists the unknown artists and musicians get out and get out their message. It's all about the music, and having the internet helps spread the message in the music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If given the chance and I felt I was ready, I'd sign only to spread the message I have in my music.
Band History:
Ever since 1996 when I first picked up a guitar, I've tested my limits on what I can do and how I can do it. In between bands and varied projects that I'd work on, I'd write lyrics...
Originally starting off with an acoustic guitar around my high school, my songs grew in complexity.
From 2001 through late 2002, I was the guitarist/vocalist/songwriter for Mindflux, an eclectic alt rock group comprised of bass, violin, and guitar.
After going acoustic for about 2 months, I fronted Regency Square who stayed around for a month and played one show, then dissolved.
With the dissolve of Regency Square, I invested in an acoustic electric and started to play more open mics, working on my sound and styles for the next year.
A year later, I split purchasing a drum set with a good friend, and he started learning. We found a bassist and guitarist and formed Right Turn Yield.
Recently, that dissolved due to differential tastes between the involved musicians, but I've been keeping rocking on with drums, and been working on whatever I can with other musicians...
I joined up for a brief while with four other musicians to form a project called Moon After Dark, and after a month, myself and the drummer from that project left, and we rejoined with my old drummer, now on bass, and another guitarist to reform Right Turn Yield in all of our visions... Look for new material being released under that name very soon...

Recording equipment and live is basically the same, with the exceptions that recording I use a Seinheisser e835s Microphone and a Fender Frontman 25R for electric guitar parts. The acoustic guitars are a Hondu 12 String acoustic and a Wasburn EA9B Acoustic/Electric guitar.
Electrical live gear is a Peavey Transtube Express 112 amplifier and a Squier Telecaster or Squier Stratocaster.
