Public has been a force in the Boston Rock scene since the spring of 2000. Driven by the music and ideas of drummer Oscar Balza and vocalist Tony Ascanio, Public has developed a unique music style that incorporates diversified influences and music genres. In 2003 Public completed its line up of talented young musicians with guitarist Sam Krahn and Gerardo Perez Giusti on the bass guitar. 2003 has been a busy year for the band. Following the release of its first EP, entitled “Sneeze for Freaks,” Public has embarked on an intense schedule of performances in the Boston area as preparation for a national tour and the release of a full-length album.
