This is something I'm doing just for fun -- to live out a lifelong dream since the age of around 7 or so when I realized that I could carry a tune (without the use of a bucket!) and it didn't sound bad.

Much love and thanks go to those in my SoundClick family (and now beyond!) who helped to encourage/challenge me to spread my wings to try this out and continue to take it to the next level. Without your kind support I'd still be just a listener (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Why this name? seemed to do well when my parents chose it, so why mess with what works? ;)
Do you play live?
I haven't "played live" since the days when I played guitar and sang in church or at karaoke. But they say to never say never...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm here...need I say more? :)

But seriously, the Internet has had an undeniable effect on the music industry, for better or for worse. On the one hand, it has allowed independent artists to "strut their stuff" to their target audiences without necessarily the need of the financial backing of a major label. On the other hand, as with any medium, there exists those nefarious individuals who choose to exploit the availability of works by the independent artists (as well as the rather complicated legal issues regarding copyrights) and try to cash in on the works of others for their own selfish purposes. As with everything else, it's best to use due diligence. (Remember, if something doesn't make sense or sounds too good to be usually isn't true)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I used to say "Not sure any label would be so desperate..." but I'm going to have to give this one some thought now...if I ever dared to dream it would even happen in my lifetime... :)
Your influences?
Carole King, Karen Carpenter, Cass Elliot, k.d. lang, Janis Siegel (of the Manhattan Transfer) to name just a few
Favorite spot?
London (although I've never been's my dream to be able to visit there before my time is up)
Equipment used:
My voice, microphone, and Sonar PE software (for the mixes)
UPDATE: I am now back into playing some guitar as a self-accompaniment so that's now been added...I'm also exploring methods to record guitar if I ever feel it's worthy of being forever captured as such.
Anything else...?
Feel free to comment, but please keep in mind this is still a relatively new venture for me and I'm still very much in the learning process (although I can't imagine a time where someone would ever stop learning. I welcome all constructive criticism!

Thanks for checking out my page. Peace!
