Don't have a site. Don't want a site.

My band started in 1959. It took years for the musicians to play together. They fought, they ruined equipment, they moved all over the country to get away from each other. Eventually, like Sybil, they became integrated into the nasty, unreliable, ill tempered bunch of whackadoos they are now.

Even now, they sometimes refuse to play well together. Buncha creeps. Better to do your own work, not rely on musicians as they are a spotty lot.
Why this name?
Had a rooster. He was kind of a jerk, attacking the dog, went after me once. He swaggered, kinda like John Wayne, so I named him Cogbern, but not the same spelling, as that just wouldn't serve Wayne's memory so well, would it? In the rooster's memory, I named the band. He couldn't play an instrument, but he could sure crow loud.
Do you play live?
no. doubt i will ever play live again. may play dead.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There's an article out there saying the mp3 wrecked the music industry. Maybe. It sure allowed a lot of musicians the ability to share music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Heck, no! Not that i gotta worry about it.
Band History:
it's only me...those other musicians have all desserted. Didn't need 'em anyway.
Your influences?
You name it, I've heard it. Do what I like, but we all stand on the shoulders of those who went before in every discipline.
Favorite spot?
Home.
Equipment used:
Audacity, Ubuntu Studio, Mackie mixer, Behringer UCA202, various cheap guitars and mics, Zoom MS50G and 60B. Someone would do the world a favor if they wrote a practical, instructive book how to set up a budget home recording rig. So far, 'Guerilla Home Recording' (Karl Coryat) helped me as much as anything. The world needs more guerillas.
Anything else...?
Record what you like. Don't listen to the critics. Most of them can't play an instrument or are jealous and gripy with their clothes too tight.
