I'm a solo unsigned artist. I do take my songs serious because I make songs so I can enjoy them and hopefully someone else would enjoy them. Including my remixes and I just don't make songs to not listen to.

Oh the majority of my songs have Mature Content because I doubt 13yrs and under would like to listen to horror songs that are not kid friendly. Plus one of them has profanity.

Why this name?

My birth last name is Shanahan. Which is my mother's last name. My father had changed mines to Santos which was his. Modern because my music is modern. Shanahan because it sounds so unique to me.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Get's unsigned artist of all genres and quality to be heard. There are many people looking for songs they want and can't find them in stores. Soundclick, youtube, myspace..etc gives us a change to hear new songs by genres we like and even new genres. It's good to hear something new once in a while and lots of unknown/unsigned artist has great songs that needs to be heard and downloaded.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would, as long as I have the rights to my own songs and I'm able to allow others to remix them.

Band History:

I'm a former unsigned christian artist. I used to make my own christian music. I fell back last year. Now I'm making secular songs.
