Why this name?
I choose to perform using my actual name.
Do you play live?
I am a seasoned professional, comfortable with live performance. My most recent live performance was a charity event performing in B.B. Kings Club in L.A. and The Hard Rock Cafe in San Francisco.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet is a great medium for music. It allows musicians who are yet unsigned to get their music heard by a larger audience. One day the internet may forever change the function of a major label.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the terms in the contract were satisfactory.
Your influences?
I have so many influences all of different styles and genre....
Andrea Boccelli - His voice is amazing
Madonna - Very smart business woman
Sarah Brightman - Incredible vocalist
Stevie Wonder - Brilliant musician and vocalist
Phil Collins - Talented musician and singer
Poe - Gifted singer and songwriter
Favorite spot?
I have to say I am not one for big cities. Give me a country setting with a nice quiet ranch and a creek running in the background. Now thats heaven.
Equipment used:
When developing techno music, Acid and Reason are used as well as Cool Edit. When developing R&B or Gospel projects, Protools is used.
Anything else...?
I appreciate varieties of music. This appreciation comes from being a studio vocalist.
