C. Vo - From the Mo. and O.K. Dub are takin' out these suckers and they don't know how we did it.
C. Vo has been rapping since the tender age of 14 when he discovered a tape of old songs and unfinished beats his uncle Darrell "Dizzy D" Fields recorded over 15 years ago. Immediately C. Vo began to write original lyrics to the instrumentals. After all of the beats were used, he began recording to original beats produced by some of the sickest producers in the business.
Why this name?
My family started calling me c.v.o. first, a play on my govt. name, Chevon. It stood for Constantly Vocalizing Opinions. My cousin Savy then began to call me C. Vo - From the Mo. (Missouri City) and it just stuck.
Do you play live?
I play in Missouri City, Houston and surrounding areas in Texas, USA.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows more artists to gain exposure with limited resources. In that way, it levels the playing field just a bit.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign the right contract with the right label for the right price.
Band History:
See answer above.
Your influences?
My style is inspired by artists like Lil' Wayne, Drake, Eminem, and Chamillionaire.
Favorite spot?
Missouri City, Texas of course.
Equipment used:
Easy - my voice.
Anything else...?
My favorite hobbies are playing video games, reading, playing chess and drawing. I'm really just a big geek at heart, but with swagger.
