Cold Occasion is the music love child of Alex Denham. It's a sometimes uncomfortable blend of sounds I find 'lying around'; gramaphones, kids, conversation, computers talking, cameras clicking, harmonics ringing, casio drum loops, the outside world etc.
Why this name?
Cold Occasions are those moments in life when you feel compelled by every hurting part of your body to create something beautiful..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a beautiful thing, allowing the smallest people commercially, but the biggest people creatively to spread their work and allow others to experience it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. Who wouldn't? But it'll never happen, because I only write music I like, and I never finish it..

Bright Eyes, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Son Ambulance, Jazz, Blues, Indie
Favorite spot?
My favourite city is London, and my favourite part of London is Battersea Power Station - SAVE IT!

I use an Apple PowerBook G4, and whatever wants to make the sounds for me..
