Hailing from Italy, Andrea Priora is a composer of emotive "mind voyaging" soundscapes covering various genres, ranging from Nu-Ambient, Soundtrack and New Age, to Electronica and Trance.
Due to the emotional approach, the sensation of being able to "touch" his music was reported by many who listened to his tracks.

Andrea's online success started over on MP3.com, where he achieved many first place chart positions and some hundred thousand downloads worldwide, earning him a respective fanbase, happy in discovering and listening to his music

Not bound to one style only, Andrea isn't typically mainstream, building something deep musically that goes beyond the fashion of the moment. With a personal distinctive sound his main influences can be found among big names of classic electronic music and film composers, merging orchestral sounds with the electronic and acoustic.
During 2009 Andrea evolved the new soundtrack/cinematic musical path that he definitively has taken.
His new influences range over various artists, like: Don Davis, Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, Bryan Tyler, other Remote Control team artists, Troels Folmann, Inon Zur, Jack Hull and Sam Hulick, James Newton Howard, Danny Elfman, Thomas Bergersen....
Why this name?
It's just my name and surname! :)
Do you play live?
Played live just once, long time ago.
A great and thrilling experience. I'd like doing it again, but I would need a great support to play live my songs now, they are very complicated to perform totally live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gave a great opportunity to unknown artists to show themselves to the masses and make own music listened to all over the world, despite the industry majors choices. After an initial boom with Mp3.com I assisted to a slow decline of this situation. Let's see what will happen in future. I hope about a rebirth of this opportunity.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
With a major? I dunno, maybe not at the moment. I'd rather an independent one... more near to the artist, as the one I've chosen to deal with. ;)

He has an agreement with the UK label Earth Academy Records and has already re-published his albums under their catalog.

Since 1998 he made 8 full albums: Destiny, Beyond My Ice, Trance Flares, Neuromantic Visions, Fairy Dazzles, Flares Beyond My Vision, No Ordinary Human TIS: Themes, No Ordinary Human TIS: Extended Score (the last two published in 2008).

He did one too with H3O Reaktor music team. Who are they, you ask?
H3O Reaktor is a dance Italian act, based in Milano. Andrea joined DJ Nino and vocalist/lyrics writer Vivian for a trip into deep emotional vocal trance.
H3O Reaktor tracks are mostly very melodic and the sound is raffinate, featuring driving fast rhythm, delicate and sensual voice in most songs, complete with sensual and involving lyrics.
Their full album is "Emotional Reaction". You can find it too on EAR.
Your influences?
I had many influences and still have everyday... from various genres.
To name just some famous name for my "old" influences I can do these ones:
Jean Michel Jarre | Vangelis | Tangerine Dream | Enigma | Robert Miles | Paul Van Dyk | Ferry Corsten | Fragma
My new influences range over various artists, like: Don Davis, Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, Bryan Tyler, other Remote Control team artists, Troels Folmann, Inon Zur, Jack Hull and Sam Hulick, James Newton Howard, Danny Elfman, Thomas Bergersen....
Favorite spot?
A futuristic city on a far and more civilized planet? ;-)
Equipment used:
Both hardware and software stuff was used during my career... anyway just one has never changed: Steinberg Cubase.
Nowadays I use more virtual instruments and libraries (orchestral and percussive the most),
but still my hardware synths find their place in my tracks.
