When I was thirteen I started playing a drumset and taking lessons. A year later, I began writing rhymes. I was first inspired by my Jr. High, English teacher. After listening to some of my favorites in high school, (Ludacris, Eminem, Ect.) I hoped I could someday rap too, even if it was just for fun. I still continued to write and express myself. After being patient for years, and going through a few things....
Finally I have been lucky enough to be in a position where I can make some music. Writing and rapping is a great form of expression that I really enjoy.
Why this name?
It was a nickname given to me by a girl I had a crush on
Do you play live?
I've done some shows in the DFW area. It's been a while since I've done a show, because I took some time off of rapping. Since I got back into it, I've been building up my song collection.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes the music industry in a positive way. It helps music get out to more people than ever before. People are exposed to so much more music, which gives me a chance to reach more people than ever. Also, the internet has taken profit from record label executives and sent it back more toward the artists. I think it's great.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If all of the details were squared away and everything was on my terms, then yes, I would be stupid not to.
Band History:
Began playing a drum set at the age of 13. At the age of 14 I began writing rhymes and trying to rap. Played in a hardcore metal band for four years in high school. Doing shows at every venue we could find on the weekends. After high school, I continued playing the drum set and decided to peruse more of the audio recording side of the music industry. After learning a thing or two about DAW's and recording techniques, I decided to make songs myself. I was dying for the expression that creating your own music gives you. My first recorded rap song that I released was called, "Boomin' Basses". That was in 2008.
Now it's 2012 and I'm still at it, working harder than ever.
Your influences?
incubus, eminem, jay-z, poison the well, drake, 2pac
Favorite spot?
santa monica pier
Equipment used:
myself and a mic, when performing live.

The equipment I use to record is an iMac, an M-audio Firewire Audio Interface, Pro-Tools 8,
Anything else...?
I want to thank anyone and everyone that listens to my music. Whether you enjoy it or not (hopefully you enjoy it) I make this music for you. It makes me so happy to share it.
