Mic Rage introduces the new sound of Retro-Trance
Why this name?
It sort of came from Mike Rage, my stage name for years, and microphone...but everyone says 'Mic' like in 'Mickey'... so that's what it ended up as.
Do you play live?
Yes, but not into patting myself on the back about live moments.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, as for me, it's allowing me to work with artists far away from me on collaberations, and to do so easily.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course I would.
Your influences?
I have too many influences to name, and they are all over the map, but I will name some that may surprise people.

ATB, Van Dyk, Alien Sex Fiend, The Zombies, Sisters of Mercy, The Damned, Early Steve Miller Band, James Brown, Spirit, Jefferson Airplane, Kantner's Starship Album, Billy Synth & The Turn-ups, Alice Cooper Band, David Bowie, Mic Ronson, T.Rex, Cream, David Werner, Jo Jo Gunn, Lou Reed, Wild Man Fischer, Led Zep, Muddy Waters...
Favorite spot?
It's a toss up between NYC and Negril, Jamaica
Equipment used:
Numark Mix1, Yamaha Keyboard, Dell Computer, FL Studio, Sonar, Parker Fly Guitar, Peavy Amp, Old Digitech Guitar Effect Rack, Alesis Brum Machine, Technics Turntables...
