This is The Pentagon's title track for their CD, which is over my beat that I used for Round One in the rapmusic.com Beat Tourney.
This is the intro to Da Pennagon's CD. I flipped the Beethoven song, "De Arise." Some people have told me this is their favorite beat, and many people wished they had rapped 2 this track.
This song was made back in 2000, a few months after the song came out. This is the 3rd oldest beat I have on here, and it's evident from the quality and style of it. It's when I was first starting to become decent as a producer.
When I first made this beat, I was messin around tryin to create a R&B beat. When Da Pennagon heard it, they were feelin it, and wanted to rap to it. The guy singin on it is George Claiborne who mixed the vocals on all of the songs.
I made this beat sometime in 99. I was tryin to make it sound like a Battlecat track. I never met the girl who sang the hook on here. The chorus makes the song worst 2 me, but it works (?).
