Flowerpot
NEWS   The brand new and revolutionary satellite radio company XM Radio has added Houston based Power-pop trio Flowerpot to the rotation at their "Unsigned" Channel 52. Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens, who is the Program Director of Unsigned, personnaly chose to add the groups radio friendly single "I Know" from their second release "Better Late Than Never." Here is what a fan had to say about "I Know." "Great melody, and beat. The male vocals were very good, definitely the kind of song that would be great for a tv show, in fact when I was listening to this song I was looking at a gap commercial that I had muted so I could hear the music, and the song was excellent as background music for this commercial. I think you have something catchy there with definite posibilities."

Flowerpot is a Houston based power-pop trio whose music is as infectious as they are.

Solid grooves, insightful lyrics and catchy pop melodies help provide their signature sound.

Combine those with swirling guitars and all of today's modern sounds and Flowerpot's music becomes a good friend you've only just met.

All of these sounds can be heard on their latest release 'Better Late Than Never.' This much anticipated release from the band marks their first full length recording, and fulfills the promise of their first EP 'howmuchdoweowe,' which offered a glimpse into the band's unique brand of wit and pop sensibilities.

Now, that glimpse has blossomed into the next step for Flowerpot, 'Better Late Than Never.' Eight tasty pop songs that hold your attention and make you beg for more, including the regional radio hit 'I Know.'

With the crunchy guitars and lush harmonies in 'Realize,' to the up-tempo fan favorite 'Reality,' Flowerpot's 'Better Late Than Never' will become one of your favorites.
