Hi! Welcome to my page. I'm one of many songwriters in the biz hoping to make a difference and stand out from the crowd. My strength lies in melody writing and instrumental music, and currently I collaborate with many talented lyricists. Every so often I come up with a lyric on my own. You can listen to several collaborations as well as my solo projects on my music page. If you are an artist, publisher, or rep who is interested in one or more of the songs, please contact me through the email link. You can also visit my other soundclick pages at www.soundclick.com/nataliealbertsdemos, dedicated to the songwriters I produce demos for.
www.soundclick.com/nataliealbertssamplepage, for works in progress.
www.soundclick.com/nataliealbertstracks, for artists who'd like to try out their vocals with the songs on this site.

Enjoy!
Why this name?
Well there I was, teetering on the edge of the fence, "Alias? Or real name? Alias? Or real name?" I decided to keep it simple!
Do you play live?
I have the ability to perform live, but will do so only if necessary! Definitely have the stage fright thing.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it makes the ocean that much deeper. It can make it harder for some, easier for others, all depending on your knowledge and expertise.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not a perfomer--just want to write. Not quite sure what my opinion is for others in that scenario. Get a good lawyer??? Definitely.
Band History:
I've been writing new age classical music since I was nine years old. Been in the songwriting business for 10 years now, and love it!
Your influences?
I know, this is going to sound corny. I absolutely love the movie Coyote Ugly. When I saw that movie for the first time it was right around the time I began my interest in songwriting. Up until that point I had only heard of Diane Warren, and then as I heard the songs she wrote for the movie, I was like, "Yeah. That is definitely something I would enjoy doing." Let's just say the movie inspired me. Prior to that I have been inspired by new age classical pianists like Jim Brickman, David Lanz. I absolutely love most pop music, rock, pop/country hybrids, and folk country like the Dixie Chicks. Occasionally a *hard* rock song emerges that I can jam to. But most of the time my ears are offended. (Sorry guys* :))
Favorite spot?
With my husband and three beautiful children--Alyssa, 12, Shawn, 10 and Brayden, 7.
Equipment used:
My baby--a digital Yamaha cvp96 piano, mic routed through it, piano to computer, record everything through Acoustica mp3 mixer. Nothing compared to some, but functional!
Anything else...?
Most of the songs are sung by myself, currently only one is sung by a professional vocalist. If you've taken the time to listen to my songs, I am grateful to you. Please feel free to leave feed back. Love it? Hate it? Give me everything you got!
