The name is my given name (Michael Mess) (MikeMess), it represents many things including all the messes I be gettin myself into and other peoples messes...see the mess has its unique, thats why I went along with the name Mess, not everyone has that opportunity to be called mess unless they in a messy situations.!!!!

I perform at clubs in NY and VA, I did a show in upstate ny, all the kids wanted to get on stage with me, some I let but couldn't all get on stage.

The Internet, the mother of a free music world!! I completely love it. Its a bridge with an endless connection... Giving me the access to share my craft with the world is priceless.

Being with an indie label is a plus, the label will sign with a major for distribution which, will allows my products to be in store... If need be I would sign with a major label.

Born and raised on August 24th in Northern Virginia, my name is Michael Mess aka “MastaMic” but MikeMess is what I go by. Growing up was typical, watched TV and listened to mom and pops’ favorite songs. Always loved music but never thought I would be part of it until I was 13. Beginning to understand the different ways of life, different cultures I knew then I wanted to start expressing all the differences I was observing. and listening to Rap/ Hip-HOP made me feel and understand the different ways one can express their feelings, frustrations, and love about certain situations. It was the best feeling ever to me and I’ve been in-love with it since then. Music is gold “ un-beatable” and Hip-Hop made it easier for me to know how different the world is and how unfortunate it can be for some. “ It’s impossible to please everybody”. Music is, the key to life whether it’s hip-hop, jazz, rock, gospel or any other form. Getting exposed to the hip-hop culture allowed me to express my thoughts, views and opinions about situations before my eyes through rhyming, it’s educational, joyful and an exercise for the brain all needs to experience with. During High school years I was a member of “ Five-Star Generals” (hip-hop group) did a lot of battling and talent shows just to get out there, in that process I learned a lot about becoming an artist, which in made me a better artist today. I appreciate music and I’m happy to have the chance to be part of it professionally. Coming across the Prezidency Family have made the path much understandable, easier and gave me more of an edge to fulfill my destiny. I will survive the ups and downs that rise during my journey. I’m strong and I know I’m gonna be compared to Eminem because of our skin color but I’m not him and much props to him for contributing to the music world. People will differentiate us as they get to know me and know what I stand for. I’m a positive, fun and laid back gentleman. I look forward to be your artist.

I love New York... and Virginia Beach is definitely the summer R & R for me, its home therefore I love it.

The producers lay the tracks and i lay the vocals..whatever equipment they use to make me happy is fine with me.
