Wiremouth is the four piece alternative metal band from Syracuse, New York. With the energy, heart, and emotion that it takes to make great music, along with an amazing live show, this is a band not to miss.
Why this name?
Wiremouth is a symbol of pain. Wiremouth is our method of dealing with some of the pain that life dishes out.
Do you play live?
We are a live band. We play all around the New York area. Our shows are energy-filled and very interactive. The one moment we remember more than any was our performance at Phoenix High School in Phoenix, NY. The crowd was completely insane, and they treated us incredibly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they have what we're looking for.
Band History:

Describing the four piece band known as Wiremouth is not an easy task. The basic descriptors of heavy, melodic, and emotional just don’t seem to do them justice. They have the youth and energy that any band needs to become a spotlight on the regional music scene.
Originally calling themselves Synapse, and carrying a different vocalist, the band started out in 1998. They were not so serious in the Synapse days, and played very few shows at The Knights Of Columbus and the Baker High battle of the bands. Then, the band decided to part ways with singer and bassist, while guitarist Jake Hedges and drummer Spyke Aller decided to stick together.

After working together with Synapse for two years, Jake and Spyke were now in search of a new bassist and singer. Former Dylusion singer Tim Paige saw an ad that Jake had posted and responded immediately. After an audition, it was quite clear that this was how it was meant to be.

The guys decided former Synapse bassist Josh Lavalley deserved another chance. They tried him out, and the band called Wiremouth was complete.

Their debut EP called “To Face Tomorrow” has been released and sold out in its first and second pressing. The band has hit the studio to rework some of the tracks, add a few special things, and remix and master the cd, and it is set for re-release in the Spring of 2002.

Wiremouth is touring now, playing at such venues as The Penny Arcade in Rochester, Armory High, The Planet 505, and The Knights Of Columbus in Syracuse, The Roadhouse in Auburn, and many others. With an explosive live show and a powerful, cutting edge hard rock style that is very much their own, this group of talented youth is a must see.
