Blindside
Lime Shark, are a five piece guitar driven rock band based in Lincolnshire and consist of founder member Tony Bodimead on vocals and guitar, Paul ‘Wizbat’ Watson on Bass and vocals, Tim Myers on rhythm guitar, Matt Cope on drums and Martin Howells on keyboards. They play an interesting mixture of original rock using guitars with samples and keyboards triggered with bass pedals and sequencers, and are reminiscent of bands such as Rush, Muse, Audioslave and Pink Floyd. The band has been gigging around the UK for five years and is steadily building a fan base. Aside from that and through the powers of the World Wide Web they are also establishing fans in Brazil, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the USA, where their music and videos are creating a lot of interestThey also have a fan base in Italy and Australia. The history of the band goes back about six years when Tony moved from London to Lincolnshire and met up with Nick Moon and the pair began writing songs together. As the band started to develop their own sound there were various line-up changes, especially in the drummer department, and with recent addition of Matt Cope, the band are continuing to gather momentum and this line-up is now making waves on the gig circuit.
