FPT Express is a one man project. With a mixture of 70's and 80's lead guitar ifluences, FPT Express brings lead guitar back to the forefront. A touch of keyboards for taste and voilla, your onboard the FPT Express, non-stop-rock !!!
Why this name?
I was looking for something easy to remember, but still conveyed the intensity of my playing.
Do you play live?
No live dates, an occasional entertainment/jam session.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great!!! Free music, free ideas. Some of the best music you can find. Free from the record industries grasp.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. Just a hobby that someone may enjoy.
Band History:
I stated playing guitar in 1971. Only because my father wouldn't get me a drum set. Back in the 70's and 80's guitar work was at it's pinnacle. Some of the greatest guitarists of all times emerged fron those two decades. After a dozen bands and ten years of cover tunes I decided to forgo the "Live Experience" for an in home studio environment.
Your influences?
Deep Purle, Wishbone Ash, Ten Years After, Captain Beyond, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, in the 70's. SRV, Vai, Satriani, Yngwie in the 80's.

Equipment used:
Very simple rig. Fender, 96 American Standard, into a Zoom 505, into a Ibanez DM500 digital delay into a Univox 50 watt all tube amp, into a Tascam MK III 4-track
