Hi, im a 16 year old male from south Wales, UK. i am a solo artist that circles around the genres of electronica sometimes experimenting but mostly sticking with soulful house and trance.
Why this name?
Mash has been my nickname since i was an infant and has kinda stuck with me so i thought it would be good to add some 'stardom' to my name to make it stand out, and there it is!
Do you play live?
I currently DJ at small clubs in my town. i have been DJing for just over a year and im really enjoying it! Ive not yet played any of my music live yet so i dont know what clubbers would think of it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes i think it gives unsigned artists the chance to sell there music and themselves. I have set up a fictional record label website for great young artists to host there music. And sites like this one help a great deal.
So yeah i think that there will be alot more young but more importantly talented artists will be around in the future with the aid of the net.

I just use music programmes like Fruityloops. I tried to link my decks up once but, nearly blew the house up.
