Vinny Murphy is a solo artist from Co. Wexford Ireland..
Currently on his 3rd album at the moment.. The first was in 2004 (ANOTHER LIFELINE) and second
was in 2006 (ENTERTAINING FOOLS) and were released locally and via the web..
Then for over 3 years he was based in Mallorca in a covers band in a holiday bar..
Securing some songwriting session nights at the moment aswell as playing the one piece
covers band (GREENWEED) and 4 piece rock band (RIGHTEOUS A)..
The last 2 albums would be really considered as demos as the quality wouldn't be 100% but
the new album (A SOLID ROUTINE) will be his first pro recorded album and will consist of a varied styles of songs..
All music and lyrics written soley by Vinny with some help from some musician friends in the recording proccess.
The lyrics and theme of the album would be based on social commentary and personal observations, 12 new songs in all (and zero love songs).
The lyrics may be dark at times and to the point but overall it will be a very upbeat album and should be released
early 2011 if all goes well.
He will be backed by fellow musician friends RIGHTEOUS A when live.
