2 reels I heard on a tape of a session at 'The Sheebeen' near Portumna, Co. Galway.
Two unaccompanied flute reels, The Chattering Magpie; and the 'other' Chattering Magpie, sometimes also known as Paddy Kelly's or Aggie Whyte's after those 2 great players.
Played as a slow reel on whistle with guitar backing.
My version of this song, which translates as "on the bank of the white rock". Thanks to Frank for help on the Irish lyrics, but all mistakes are mine of course. Lesl - guitar, whistle, voice.
A music setting of the poem by William Butler Yeats. Used with permission of A.P Watt Ltd on behalf of Anne Yeats. Music traditional. Guitar arrangement copyright J. Collins. Used with kind permission. Lesl - guitar, whistle, voice.

A well-loved seafaring song which we recorded in London in the late 70's, at a rehearsal on very dubious quality tape which I have resurrected partly. Guitars and vocals by John DeJong and Lesl.
The Lesl & Mike duo from college. Mike put our music from the local folk venues onto tape, before that sort of thing was routinely being done. Mike: arranger, vocals, lead guitar, electric bass. Lesl: composer, vocals, second guitar, fingerpicking.
