An acoustic-based, psychedelic pop duo, StrangeCloud formed in 1998 as a trio and quickly underwent various personnel changes. The current duo has performed relentlessly since fall 1999 and has released 3 highly successful indie CDs. While earlier projects focused on the acoustic, alt country sound, the newer material is more pop and rock oriented. The new CD Psychedelectric Orange was released on May 4, 2004.

Why this name?
It's a secret.
Do you play live?
The current duo has performed relentlessly since fall 1999 at a variety of types of venues including coffee shops, bookstores, bars, clubs, and by invitation performed at Bob Dylan's 60th Birthday Party in Minneapolis, MN. We are currently taking a break from live performances, writing new material.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's all changed. The "revolution" of 1998-2000 came and went, and the major labels were able to take control of what was developed by indies. Once the playground of independent artists, the internet has now become a major force for the big labels.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Doubtful
