Busker is a solo instrumentalist with a bunch of toys. Recording is more fun than watching television.
Why this name?
The name reflects the fact that Busker is not a virtual musician. He does not use loops or other techno crutches in this act.
Do you play live?
Busker has played all over Southern California and enjoyed it well enough. Since the live music scene is dying out down here, Busker prefers the creative vibe found only in the studio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Busker feels the internet can be a great showcase for artists who aren't getting any exposure elsewhere. Likewise, Busker feels there is no single source for finding good new music and hopes that SoundClick will rise above the madness.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure...........................................
