Caruso is a power-pop punk band from Cincinnati, Ohio, featuring ex-members of The Scrubs and Low-L Relay. Come and see us play sometime.

Our official website is www.carusorock.com.

Why this name?
We named it after our friend Tom Caruso. He's a dude.
Do you play live?
Yes, mostly in and around Cincinnati. And of course we love it. Some highlights have been playing with The Lawrence Arms, Yellowcard, Ultimate Fakebook, Common Rider, Armor For Sleep, Denali, The Stereo, The Appleseed Cast, Black Cross, and playing the 2003 Vans Warped Tour.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet does wonders for indie bands like us as far as exposure goes. Illegal sharing of whole albums in MP3 format hurts bigger artists, though, and not just the super rich ones - it hurts all sorts of people trying to make a living off something they love.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why would we want to decide something like that before it actually is a possibility? It's like wiping before you poop - it just doesn't make sense!
Your influences?
We're influenced by today's great indie bands like Jets to Brazil, The Weakerthans and Death Cab For Cutie. However, we're also heavily influenced by the fact that we grew up listening to pop punk stuff like Screeching Weasel, The Queers and Face to Face.
