I'm a 50-something musician who has been playing music since the 1960s. I mostly play electric bass in the bands, but I also play guitar, mandolin, piano, acoustic bass and sitar.
Why this name?
This page is for my own music.
Our band, Dads Gone Bad, can also be found on this site.
Do you play live?
I play live with the band. Most of the material here is my own stuff, multi-tracked at home on a Zoom digital recorder. I play all the instruments and sing all the vocal parts.
This home recording stuff is mostly for my own entertainment, and friends and family.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I like being able to hear people's music, and look forward to sharing some of my own. Our band has been getting gigs from our website, so the Internet can be a useful tool for live musicians.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, call me up.
