I am a solo piano keyboard artist. I have composed my own original music for a number of years but I have only just started to share it with a wider audience. Some music is well over twenty five years old, whilst other tracks have been recorded within the last year. I decided to share my music with others following a evening when I played some of my piano solo music to a live audience in a talent evening whilst on holiday. The response was most encouraging and it was suggested that I should not waste the talent that I have been given. I do not write down any of the music in notation form (although I can read music), it's all down to my memory. I love sharing my music with others and I hope that I will get the opportunity of doing so on a much wider scale in the future. I have only just started to test the reaction of the music market, so watch this space. Thank you for your support and interest in my music, I hope you like the tracks that I have selected for this sample. I am only limited by the equipment that I have at the moment.
Why this name?
It's my name, I was born with it, thanks to my wonderful parents!
Do you play live?
I do sometimes play live at the Cascade drama club in Farnham (Surrey) and in Worship sessions at my Church (New Hope in Reading). I particularly enjoy playing my own original music compositions for the piano keyboard. One day I would love to hear a full Orchestration version of my music played live by a full orchestra, like the one that I hear in my head when I compose!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Technology is an amazing thing, what a new world it is now, with such opportunities available!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would love to see my music shared all over the World, not just in my living room.
Band History:
I have been composing music since I was a boy, when I had a few lessons on the acoustic piano. I don't remember getting even a grade 1 music exam. I am largely self taught over the years, having played in a variety of Church services (where I gained my craft). I have been given a remarkable talent and the gift of music. I can not explain how I compose each melody, it just comes when I need it. I jokingly refer to it my "downloads." I do believe in Miracles and accept that my talent has been given to me for some purpose, as yet unknown. What the future holds for me, well watch this space. Hope you really do like my music. Thanks for your support!
