I discovered electronic music in the late 60s with artists like Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel and Klaus Schulze. I purchased my first synthesizer in the late 80s when electronic musical instruments became more affordable. Have been experimenting in my home studio ever since. I have a lot of fun creating this music. I hope you will enjoy listening to it.
Do you play live?
I have a full-time job and creating music is a wonderful hobby for me. I only work in the studio. I was really thrilled when a radio station in Frankfurt, Germany, aired one of my compositions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
With technology becoming available to everybody and internet linking us to the world, what was unthinkable for musicians in a not so distant past has now become a dream come true. In my home, I compose, perform, record, burn CDs and upload my music on the net.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. But I don't consider that as the final achievement, an ultimate goal to reach.
Your influences?
Kraftwerk, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno, Todd Rundgren, Orbital
Favorite spot?
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
