The boys were gathered since September 30th, 1996 in Bandung. At first, they would be called MUTANT X, but its not indonesian enough so they called themself Jeruji. from the beginning until now Jeruji's changed formations for many times. but we have the fixed formation now, with Aldonny"Themf***" on Vocal

Why this name?
we considered to pick JERUJI (Bars in indonesian languange)as our band name is because we like to put Indonesia music in front of the world music and also we thought Indonesia still behind the bars for economically and politically.
Do you play live?
yes we'd played lotsa gigs since we were build as a band, coz we have no money to run a records, so we play from gigs to gigs just to make us tough enuff as a band also gathered lotsa friends and experience. Most of all our gigs is locally in Bandung, Indonesia but we were done in Medan and Jakarta too. All gigs has its own special moments for all of us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
HELL YEAH!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
if they are interested with us, why not. we never put 'em as an enemy, but we're glad to be an enemy HAHA! coz rite now in indonesia, major label were frightened with indie labels or indie bands.

All of us were affected from many differents type of musics, thats reall huge list if you were askin us about it. so prepare your lotsa page for it dog, HAHAHA!!
Favorite spot?
our hometown Bandung, even its gettin crowded and dizziest now, but we could go anywhere by WALKING!! *fyuh*
