Band History:
They first met during junior high and from then and on they stuck together writing and playing music for endless hours every day.
X-Beat was influenced by the sound of the amazing British, German and Italian electro pop bands & artists of the 80's. Sometime in year 1988 at the age of eighteen ,they decided to reach the unknown and make themselves known... Back in the 80’s, Greek electronic music scene was somehow limited and it was very hard for a young electronic group to sign a contract with a big record label. So after a few turndowns they decided to produce, record and distribute an LP record on their own.The only means they really had , were just their love for music, the craziness and the guts of their youth. Many Greek radio producers encouraged the efforts of the two independent young musicians with continuous airplay of their songs and interviews. Until 1994, when the two friends decided to end their five - year collaboration as "X-Beat" (during 1991-92 they served at the army), they wrote and recorded over 100 songs. Some of them were introduced to their audience at live concerts...
