Pierce has created a wonderful work of ambiance. While I find most ambient oriented releases good, they generally are all a lot the same. Pierce isn't terribly different from anything else out there but it finds a place to call it's own in the world of ambient music. I'd say that this [music] finds it's uniqueness through it' use of piano. The piano is just enough contrast from the electronic that it captures you before you have the chance to disregard it. There's a very peaceful feeling in these songs and I have to say that it doesn't take long for it to completely relax me. A nice [music] for fans of adult contemporary, ambient, and classical.
