Letters to the Captives
A beautiful ransom is laced with folk with the addition of jazz chord progressions, and classical overtones; best described as experimental-acoustic. The deep-hearted lyrics are intertwined with rich melodies to keep you singing or humming along.
Why this name?
The name was thought up by my friend katie, for a project we were going to start up. However we split on the project, and I guess the name kinda stuck with me.
Do you play live?
I love to play live, I'll play anywhere and everywhere i can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It lets people sample music before they decide to buy. However, I still prefer to walk into record stores, and buy random records, just to keep my influences broad.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
with out a doubt. there is no better career than doing something you like to do.
