I'm currently a amateur hip hop producer...aim is to get enough money to get the equipment needed to make professional beats. Started about a year ago...and hope to continue for a good few years
Why this name?
No Gimmicks...because I don't need these gimmicks such as autotune to make a good song! just plain good stuff!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the accessibility of tracks and albums which means it is easier for some to download without buying...also a lot of the great sound we use to hear has been lost as it has been digitalised and constricted to a small size to fit on cds etc.
then again, without the internet people would not be able to get their names known outside of their home town without money or connections so the internet is bad for sound quality and profiting from music but great for getting your name out there and also finding new artists to listen to.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
not unless i was fully happy with the contract agreements
