I am a dj and cratedigger who produces both introspective songs and crunked out party anthems. I push the boundaries of hip hop and intertwine it with the forms that inspired it and new forms unheard by man.
Why this name?
Laurec Goldfinger is quite possibly the greatest and most pimped out supervillian the world has known... and it's a metaphor for how i make vinyl shine in my hands.
Do you play live?
I play live, as well as host One Nation Under the Groove Thursday nights at 10 PM on Underground Radio:

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It forces it out of the uncreative rut it has been mired in and allows diversity.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only depending on the lable acquiecing to certain terms.
Band History:
I began experimenting with recording and mixing when I was 11 years old using only two walkmen and a mixer. I recorded my first real song when I was 15. Now armed with crates of vinyl, a Mac, a SP-303 sampler, effects processors, drum machines, live instruments and circuit bent toys, I try to bring music from my mind into the digital realm.
