Input chain: Banjitar into wah, wah into pre-amp, pre-amp into soundcard. No special processing was done, or extra effects applied. Note, though volume begins soft, it increases. This was for control of mood.
This used my Dean 'Custom Zone' electric guitar w/ wah pedal, my Toca 14' djembe, and my voice. It's mainly instrumental.
This song is ancient. Nobody knows who wrote it, or exactly when. But, I like it. So, I came up with my own version of it for doing on violalin.
This was me, playing around on my Dean 'Custom Zone' electric guitar. Tone was set as mellow & clean - no effects used. Post-recording processing was just amplification and trimming duration. (MS=84.)
This song is a mellow, wistful piece. It uses many instruments.
Blues using banjitar, electric guitar w/ wah, 2 violin tracks, & voice. Percussion track was from midi, made into wav.
A mellow but wistful piece. The current version contains 2 guitar tracks, electric bass guitar, & voice.
This is a whimsical piece about an alien who goes for a stroll and gets lost. The sung lyrics overlay spoken poetry. Instruments include viola, electric guitar, & drum machine. Lots of tweaking created the extra effects.
A mellow song of devotion, although the precise object of devotion isn't specified (other than the rain it refers to). This copy uses 6-string, 12-string, Djembe, & voice.
A mildly raucous piece on the slow side of moderate tempo; difficult to place, re. genre (like most of my stuff). This recording uses electric guitar, djembe, and my voice.
4th version of this (so far). Punky rhythm & jazzy melody. Fender JP-90 electric bass, Ibanez SR-406 bass, Tradition SG 6-string electric, Bongos, acoustic viola, and vocal tracks. Ponderously tongue-in-cheek.
Vaguely reminiscent of East Indian music. It uses acoustic 12-string guitar, Electric Bass guitar, Yamaha DD-7 digital drum machine, Flute, and my voice. I recommend use of headphones, for stereo separation effects.
The lyrics basically speak for themselves,... I feel it's best categorized as "Smooth Jazz", although I'm entirely open to other opinions re. this. It uses voice, flute, electric 6-string, electric Bass, & manually constructed percussion track.
This song contains what I would have said to my daughter, if I'd been free to, during that time when she was being stolen from me.
