I'm a flautist living and working in the Netherlands. During the last two years I've been writing and recording my own work for flute in what you might loosely call a jazz idiom using computer based accompaniments with flute as front instrument.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It creates a forum where music which would otherwise be relatively inaccessible to the general public can be heard worldwide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!
